"Bob Puckett
was raised by a widowed mother in a poor area of Atlanta. As a very young
teenager, Bob worked several jobs to buy groceries and help support his
mother and me, his sister. He knew that he had things to do in his life
and that hard work was the way to do them. He worked his own way through
college to enter the education profession. He has made a difference in
the lives of students and educators. Helping others is a big part of who
Bob Puckett is. I have always been very proud of Bob as my brother and
the people of the 13th District can be very proud to have him working for
them."

"I
have many ties to Bob Puckett. First, I am his niece, but I am also a fellow
educator in the state of Georgia. I am certain that Bob Puckett's dedication
and commitment to his work in the education system will benefit educators,
children and Rome/Floyd County citizens for years to come. Bob's knowledge
and professionalism throughout each phase of his career has been inspirational
to me as well as many others. Rome, Floyd County and the state of Georgia
would benefit greatly to have Bob Puckett represent them in the legislature."

"I have
known Bob Puckett for the past six years. During this time, I have worked with
him and I know him to be an energetic and forward thinking professional. I have
also had the opportunity to become friends with his family as well. The Pucketts
are "true America." They have both family values and a work ethic that is to
be admired and exemplified. They are loyal and supportive of immediate and extended
family and, as a friend, I know I can count on them. Bob and his family are positive
and seek the greater good of all those they meet. I can't think of anyone who
would represent the people of this district more honestly, wisely and effectively
than Bob Puckett."

"Bob knows the problems
of students, teachers, administrators and parents. With his knowledge and
honest integrity, I feel Bob will make a tremendous impact as a representative.
We need more candidates with the commitment Bob exhibits not only to education,
but to his church and his community."
Marilyn Etheredge,
Teacher, Rome City Schools
"I have known
Bob for over 25 years but over the past five years, I have had the opportunity
to work with Bob on a daily basis. During this time, I have gained an admiration
for Bob's work ethic and professional approach in everything he undertakes.
Bob's background as a math teacher is a major asset in dealing with budgetary
matters for Floyd County Schools. I count it a privilege to call Bob and
his family my friends."

"I have known and
worked with Bob Puckett for over twenty years. During this time, I have had
the opportunity to observe first hand his excellent leadership in our schools,
community, his church and our beloved state. I know Bob to be a devoted husband,
father and grandfather. Bob is someone that I am proud to call friend. I
can think of no one with more wisdom and integrity to represent the people
of District 13 than Bob Puckett."
Brenda Lyons
”I have been married to Bob Puckett for 38 years. I know that he has deep moral
values, empathy for others….especially those in need, and a determination to
make things better which is matched only by his drive and boundless energy. He
is intelligent and has the ability to see the big picture. Anyone who has ever
worked with him knows that he will keep pace with the hardest worker in the group
to accomplish the job. He chose at an early age to spend his life serving others,
and he has never wavered from that. If you elect him to represent you, you will
be glad.”
Christine Puckett
Wife/Educator
”As a former student
of Dr. Bob Puckett, I urge all voters of District 13 to vote for and elect
Dr. Bob Puckett as their representative. Dr. Puckett was my elementary
principal when I attended Alto Park Elementary School for my first year
of education after moving to Rome from middle Georgia. In my middle grades,
he was also my principal at Coosa Middle School. I believe that it was
his leadership and the excellent foundation that was laid by his administration
in my early years of school that has enabled me to continue and complete
my education at Georgia Tech, graduating with a degree in engineering.
Dr. Puckett was not only my principal; he also has become a family
friend, confidant, and fellow church member. His desire to serve the citizens
of District 13 on state level and his dedication to the service of others
is to be commended. Please remember to vote for this excellent candidate
when you go to the polls in November.”
